Scope: National, Multi-Facility 50 State Pharmacy Operations

The Opportunity

\n

Scriptful RX is seeking an exceptional Chief Operating Officer to lead and scale operations across our growing network of wholly owned pharmacy facilities throughout the United States.

\n

Reporting directly to the CEO of Scriptful RX, the COO will have executive responsibility for the operational performance of the organization and its pharmacy facilities.

\n

This is not a traditional single-site pharmacy operations position.

\n

\n

We are looking for an experienced operator capable of building and managing a national multi location pharmacy footprint —standardizing processes across facilities, developing leadership teams, increasing capacity, implementing technology and automation, maintaining rigorous quality standards, and creating the infrastructure required to support significant growth.

\n

The COO will translate the CEO's strategy into execution across the organization.

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

National Operations Leadership

\n

Lead day-to-day operations across Scriptful RX's network of pharmacy and fulfillment facilities throughout the United States.

\n

\n

Create a unified operating model so that every Scriptful RX facility operates according to consistent standards for quality, productivity, safety, service, reporting, and accountability.

\n

Establish clear operating rhythms, KPIs, dashboards, and management systems across the organization.

\n

\n

Develop the organizational structure required to manage a rapidly expanding multi-state and multi-facility operation.

\n

\n

Multi-Facility Management

\n

Provide executive oversight to facility leaders and operational teams across the country.

\n

Establish appropriate regional and facility-level leadership structures while maintaining centralized accountability.

\n

\n

Ensure each facility has appropriate staffing, processes, equipment, systems, inventory, and leadership to meet its operating targets.

\n

\n

Build systems that allow the CEO and executive leadership team to understand the performance, capacity, risks, and constraints of the entire pharmacy network in real time.

\n

\n

Scale & Capacity

\n

Develop the operational infrastructure required to support substantial increases in prescription volume.

\n

\n

Identify bottlenecks before they constrain growth and develop plans to eliminate them.

\n

Build Scriptful RX so that operational capacity stays ahead of commercial demand.

\n

\n

Operational Excellence

\n

Develop a culture of continuous improvement throughout Scriptful RX.

\n

Implement disciplined operating methodologies and measurable performance standards across all facilities.

\n

\n

Drive improvements in prescription turnaround time, fulfillment accuracy, labor efficiency, inventory management, shipping performance, patient experience, and overall cost structure.

\n

Standardize best practices across the organization rather than allowing facilities to operate independently.

\n

\n

Quality, Compliance & Patient Safety

\n

Partner closely with pharmacy leadership, Pharmacists-in-Charge, legal, compliance, quality, and clinical teams to ensure Scriptful RX operates to rigorous standards.

\n

\n

Ensure operational processes support compliance with applicable federal and state pharmacy requirements, controlled substance requirements where applicable, privacy requirements, accreditation standards, and internal quality systems.

\n

\n

Create a culture where patient safety and quality are never sacrificed for speed or growth.

\n

\n

Technology & Automation

\n

Work closely with technology and pharmacy leadership to build a highly automated pharmacy operating environment.

\n

\n

The COO should constantly ask: How can we make this faster, safer, simpler, more scalable, and less dependent on manual processes?

\n

\n

Supply Chain & Procurement

\n

Oversee the operational aspects of procurement, inventory management, vendor performance, logistics, and supply chain resilience.

\n

\n

Develop systems that provide visibility into inventory levels, purchasing requirements, lead times, shortages, and demand forecasts across all facilities.

\n

\n

Reduce unnecessary working capital while ensuring the organization maintains the inventory required to reliably serve patients and partners.

\n

\n

People & Leadership

\n

Recruit, develop, and manage a world-class operations leadership team.

\n

Build a culture of accountability where leaders understand their numbers, own their results, and solve problems quickly.

\n

\n

Develop succession plans and leadership pipelines as the organization expands.

\n

Create clear accountability from the COO through regional leadership, facility leadership, department management, and frontline operations.

\n

\n

Financial Performance

\n

Partner with the CEO and finance team to establish budgets, forecasts, operating targets, and capital plans.

\n

\n

Own operational performance against those plans.

\n

Identify opportunities to improve operating leverage as prescription volume increases.

\n

\n

Facility Expansion & Integration

\n

Lead the operational planning and execution of new Scriptful RX facilities.

\n

Develop a repeatable playbook for launching new pharmacy operations, including facility design, equipment, technology, staffing, workflows, training, inventory, and go-live readiness.

\n

Support the integration of acquired pharmacies and facilities into the Scriptful RX operating platform.

\n

\n

The objective is to create a system where Scriptful RX can acquire, build, integrate, and scale pharmacy facilities rapidly without compromising quality.

\n

\n

Executive Leadership

\n

Serve as a key member of the Scriptful RX executive leadership team.

\n

Translate the CEO's strategic priorities into measurable operating plans.

\n

Work collaboratively with other businesses within The Wellness Group where shared infrastructure, technology, clinical services, or commercial relationships can create strategic advantages.

\n

\n

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a proven executive operator who has managed complex, regulated, high-volume operations across multiple facilities.

\n

Experience operating multiple pharmacy facilities across several states is strongly preferred.

\n

\n

Experience & Qualifications

\n

\n

Ideally 10–15+ years of progressive operational leadership experience , including significant executive-level responsibility.

\n

\n

Demonstrated experience managing large, distributed operational teams.

\n

Experience overseeing multiple facilities and building standardized operating systems across them.

\n

\n

Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, healthcare operations, regulated environments, or similarly complex industries.

\n

\n

Experience scaling organizations through periods of rapid growth.

\n

\n

Demonstrated ability to manage large operating budgets and capital projects.

\n

\n

Strong command of operational and financial metrics.

\n

\n

Experience implementing automation and technology into operational environments.

\n

\n

Track record of recruiting and developing high-performing leadership teams.

\n

\n

Experience integrating acquisitions or launching new facilities is highly desirable.

\n

\n

Pharmacy industry experience is strongly preferred.

\n
