Angels Among Us is growing, and we’re looking for dependable, caring individuals who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and adults with disabilities throughout Northwest Indiana.

Position: Caregiver / Personal Care Aide

Pay: $15–$19 per hour

Schedule: Flexible — part-time 

Service Area: Lake County and Porter County

About the Role

As a caregiver with Angels Among Us, you’ll provide non-medical support that helps clients remain safely and comfortably in their homes. Your work brings dignity, comfort, and peace of mind to families in our community.

Responsibilities include:

• Personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting assistance)

• Homemaking (light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation)

• Companionship and social engagement

• Medication reminders (non-administration)

• Safety monitoring and documentation

• Support with mobility and daily routines

What You Bring

• A compassionate, patient, and reliable personality

• Experience in caregiving (professional or personal) within the last three years

• Valid Driver’s License and Social Security card

• Reliable transportation; Auto Insurance

• Ability to pass a background check

• Commitment to treating every client with dignity and respect
