Department: Associate Dean of Research Reports Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties: The Engineering Fiscal Operations Manager in the College of Engineering is responsible for managing the fiscal operations of the College of Engineering Dean's Office. Key job responsibilities include financial management, grant and gift administration, and data analytics for the College of Engineering Dean's Office. This position is governed by Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), state and federal laws, and institution policy. The Engineering Fiscal Operations Manager greatly contributes to the student centric environment by providing excellent customer service and performs major fiscal and administrative duties necessary to help maintain an effective and efficient Dean's Office. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, general business, or a related field from an accredited institution of higher education
• At least three years of experience in fiscal operations

• Knowledge of software application programs, database management, and accounting principles
• Knowledge of the principles and practices of fiscal management, including budget development, purchasing, and asset management
• Knowledge of state and federal laws, rules, and regulations, and agency/institution policies and applicable laws
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prepare budgets and monitor expenditures
• Ability to conduct research and prepare and present oral and written information and reports
• Ability to plan, organize and coordinate activities, resources, and materials associated with the needs of the department or program
• Ability to investigate complaints, identify problems, and design corrective measures
• Ability to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and compliance of administrative operations, budgets, and programs
