Position Overview:

General Laborers are responsible for following all written and verbal SOP’s, documenting work, cleaning and washing totes, forklift operation, sanitation, stacking pallets, assisting packaging, breaking down used cardboard totes and other general needs throughout the facility.

Position Expectations:

• Ability to work in a team environment
• Learn and follow all procedures and programs necessary to support the production of high-quality food products
• Maintain the safe, clean, and effective working environment
• Follow and complete all written SOP’s, procedures, and process documentation
• Ability to follow direction and work independently
• Capable of lifting 50lbs repeatedly and forklift operation

Ideal Candidate:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
• Record of good attendance and professionalism
• Pro-active, hard worker
• Willing to work either day or night shift
• Minimum of 3 years forklift experience
• Minimum of 2 years working in a warehouse

Compensation:

• After 90-day probationary period, starting hourly rate of $26 per hour
• After successful completion of probationary period, fully paid health care premiums, including dependents, with 50% deductible match up to out of pocket maximum
• 2 weeks’ vacation pro-rated from date of hire
• 401k, sick days, and 6 paid holidays

In Minneapolis, we have also created a new Innovations Lab which helps food & beverage manufacturers test ingredients, experiment with new formulations, perform sensory evaluations and shelf life testing and gain insight into critical flavor and stability properties.
