Supply Planner

Supply PlannerReporting to the Senior Director, Global Procurement, the Supply Planner will be responsible for planning, managing and controlling the supply of product from forecast/demand to 3PFG plant output in support of commercial, financial and operational plans. The incumbent will work with Business Unit teams in translating commercial objectives as they relate to product supply into executable plans for our 3PFG sites. The Supply Planner will work with our 3PFG sites in developing an adaptive and scalable supply fulfilment model which anticipates future business requirements.Principal Responsibilities:Identify and define analytical problems related to RWE, leveraging domain knowledge and data science techniques to develop scalable, data-driven solutions.Manage Demand and Supply to minimize back orders, position Inventories at agreed levels and reach targeted customer service Levels.Be part of the S&OP monthly cycle and, together with 3PFG plant contacts, drive S&OP Supply review.Work with the Demand Planning & Customer Service teams: manage exceptional demand/sales opportunities with the 3PFG plants to max revenues.Communicate with the SBU's/Regions on supply issues and 3PFG manufacturing plans.Ensure that potential constraints to supply are proactively managed to ensure continuity of supply.Anticipate supply constraints resulting from quality, regulatory, technical, or other issues.Analyse these constraints and identify innovative solutions to quickly resolve same.Drive an inclusive approach to problem solving and engaging widely within the business.Work with the wider planning team, analyse global material flow – particularly from 3PFG plants to distribution centres/customers to optimize the supply chain.First escalation level for the 3PFG supplier when it comes to supply constraints.Day-to-day activities in the ERP system from order placement at suppliers to maintenance of reliable supply dates.Lead and participate 3PFG supplier meetings to address Demand Fulfilment constraint.Key Relationship Interfaces:Global ProcurementSupplier QualityRegional Demand PlanningBusiness Unit and Regional Marketing teamsLogistics & Distribution (globally)Intercompany Planning TeamCommand Centre TeamControl Tower TeamFinance TeamEducation / Experience Requirements:Minimum 5 year's experience in Supply Planning or related discipline.Bachelor's degree in Business or related technical field, APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) is also desirable.ERP / Planning Systems knowledgeUnderstanding of manufacturing at 3PFG plants and how service levels are impacted by differing elements of the process.Experience in Global Supply Chain Networks and Supply Process ex 3PFG plants to DC'sSpecialized Skills / Other Requirements:Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work well under deadlines and pressure.Problem solving skills for developing creative solutions and meeting objectives are required.Ability to communicate clearly, accurately, and directly, both verbally and in writing, to a widely varied audience.Good business acumen.Self-starter, able to identify what is essential for business success and align resources and time accordingly.Approachable and enthusiastic.Excellent organizational and analytical skills.Strong skill set to manage relationships. i.e. manufacturing and supply chain.Good judgment and problem solving ability & is capable of understanding the impact of decision making on both Teleflex and their customers.As a member of the Global Demand and Fulfillment, proactively influences peers and upper management to support successful implementation of projects.Ability to function equally well independently and as part of a team.Must have ability to complete multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Teleflex Incorporated is an equal opportunity employer.
