Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week inpatient rehabilitation (IRF) assignment in Greenwood, IN.

Details

• 44-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital (IRF) setting
• Patients include adults recovering from brain injury, stroke, spinal cord injury, amputation, cardiac conditions, and orthopedic injuries
• Daily caseload of 6–7 patients
• Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with 2–3 weekend days per month
• May float to sister IRF facilities as needed
• EHR: UDS
• No call requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of PT experience, with IRF experience highly preferred
• Graduate of an accredited PT program; must be licensed in Indiana
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Candidates with only outpatient, school, or acute care experience are not a strong fit for this role
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• License required if applicable

• Facility is CARF-accredited for its Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation Program and Stroke Specialty Program, and accredited by The Joint Commission
• Strong emphasis on teamwork, collaboration, and working toward safe discharge to home in a fast-paced, short length-of-stay environment
• Any scrub color except navy blue
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
