As a Supply Chain – Manager Level 2 located in Redondo Beach, CA. Role reports to Manager, Global Supply Chain (GSC), Material Management, within the Intelligence Space Division (ISD). As a manager, you will be leading a group of 15 to 20 supply chain personnel.In this job, you will:Perform resource planning and staffing to meet program demandsPromote team member development including skills training, professional seminar sponsorship, and training material developmentBe an advocate for the career advancement of your team by promoting knowledge sharing and mentor / protégé relationshipsExecute performance management, including employee goal setting, feedback solicitation, performance discussions, compensation planning, and issue resolutionLead the deployment, measurement, and improvement of tailored, lean processes and tools and sponsor reduction strategiesProvide proposal, technical project standup, and program review supportKey roles and responsibilities:Managing a team providing career development guidance, performance review evaluation, fulfilling staffing requirementsOversee day to day GSC MMO organization execution for an assigned work scope. Analyze future demand needs and determine MMO Staffing, assist in tracking and coordinating, CRIT1 Status and other high priority procurements to assist PMI'sLiaison between the GSC Program Managers and the GSC MMO Organization, as well as cross functional/org teamsManage MMO staffing across programs and business units collaborating with GSC Program ManagersCreation, maintenance, improvement of GSC MMO processesEffectively tracking multiple issues simultaneously through the GSC processes; presentations and concise reporting/tracking of issues to the GSC Organization and GSC PMsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degreeAt least 8 years of supply chain management, subcontracts or other relevant experienceMinimum of 2 years in a lead or supervisory roleBasic knowledge & familiarity with SAPMust have an SCIPreferred Qualifications: Top Secret or SCI clearance Familiarity with Aerospace Materials and Processes (M&P) and associated suppliers Experience in business/project managementFacility and experience working in SAP/CostpointExperience supporting large & unique aerospace programsDemonstrated flexibility and agility, prioritizing multiple tasks with competing deadlinesExperience and/or familiarity with key Northrop Grumman GSC functions including Advanced Planning (AP), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and Parts Management Integration (PMI)Prior GSC experiencePrimary Level Salary Range: $133,100.00 - $199,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
