Print Operator
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate EFI large-format printers safely and efficiently to meet production schedules.
- Perform daily preventative maintenance, cleaning, and calibration of printing equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and print-quality issues.
- Diagnose and perform repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
- Monitor color accuracy, print quality, and production consistency.
- Load, unload, and handle large media rolls and printing materials safely.
- Work closely with the Graphics, Production, and Shipping departments to meet customer deadlines.
- Maintain accurate production records and report equipment issues promptly.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with company safety standards.
- Recommend improvements to increase equipment reliability, efficiency, and print quality.
- Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures.
Job Requirements
- 2 years of experience operating large-format digital printing equipment.
- Experience operating EFI VUTEK printers is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and repairing large-format printing equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose equipment problems.
- Able to read work orders.
