The City of Gillette (WY) is currently hiring for a Police Officer position. The salary for this full-time role is $32.00 per hour, with a $4.00 per hour night shift differential. There is also a lateral sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates.

This position is responsible for the enforcement of federal, state, and local laws and the protection of life and property. Key duties include conducting investigations, responding to emergency calls, patrolling assigned areas, performing traffic enforcement, documenting incidents, and assisting in the preparation of court documents.

Minimum qualifications include knowledge and competency associated with specialized training in the field of work, a high school diploma or GED, sufficient experience, a valid driver's license issued by the State of Wyoming, and a Peace Officer Certification issued by the Wyoming Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission.
