Client: FL Government Agency Position: Systems Administrator Term: July 2026 - June 2027 with renewal opportunity Compensation: Pay = $70/Hr - $72/Hr Location: ON SITE, Tallahassee, Florida MUST already reside in the SE US Work Authorization: ONLY USC or GC no other Visas Education: A bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or four (4) years of equivalent work experience is required. R Experience: 5 years of Windows server administration experience with 3 years administering Windows 2016 and newer; 3 years of Microsoft Azure and Cloud experience and 2 years of AWS experience; 5 years administering Active Directory, Domain Name System (DNS), and Group Policy in environments with over 1,000 users; 3 years of Linux server management experience; Demonstrated experience writing, testing, and executing PowerShell scripts; and Proven track record installing, maintaining, and supporting third-party applications within virtual and cloud environments. Responsibilities: Perform Microsoft Azure Entra ID and Active Directory management activities; Develop and maintain processes that optimize Microsoft server and Azure resources; Develop, deploy, and maintain processes that optimize Amazon Web Services (AWS) services and resources; Analyze Azure resource performance to identify resource contention and recommend changes or upgrades as needed to ensure optimization; Develop and maintain technical specifications, standards, procedures, and systems documentation; Work with data center staff, OIT, and users to perform resource deployments, upgrades, and configuration changes; Administer and configure Azure infrastructure security as needed for OIT staff and users; Assist Azure application owners, administrators, and users with appropriate application access; Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve Windows and Linux server issues with minimal impact on users; Write PowerShell scripts to be used to monitor server properties and perform Active Directory and Azure management activities
