What You’ll Do Handle civil litigation matters independently, from case assessment through resolution Take depositions, argue motions, and appear in court regularly Work on matters involving premises liability, insurance defense, employment litigation, and/or public entity law Communicate directly with clients, including insurers and institutional clients Collaborate with a small team of trial‑focused attorneys What You’ll Need Active bar admission in the relevant state Strong litigation, research, and writing skills Comfort with a trial‑heavy practice and regular court appearances Ability to manage a caseload with real ownership and autonomy Prior civil defense or insurance defense experience preferred A bit about us A well‑regarded civil litigation firm in Southern California is seeking an attorney to join its defense practice.
