JobTitle: QC Analyst II-ChromatographyLocation: Portsmouth, NH, (On-site)As a QC Analyst II, Chromatography, you will play an important role in supporting the release of in-process and final product drug lots through analytical testing and quality control activities. Working within a GMP-regulated laboratory, you will perform chromatography-based assays, troubleshoot laboratory equipment, review data, and support customer stability studies. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on HPLC experience who enjoys problem-solving, continuous improvement, and maintaining high-quality standardsWhat you will get:An agile career and dynamic working cultureAn inclusive and ethical workplaceCompensation programs that recognize performanceMedical, dental, and vision insuranceOpportunities to grow and develop your careerA collaborative and supportive team environmentThe opportunity to support the delivery of life-changing therapiesWhat you will do:Perform chromatography testing to support in-process, final product, and stability testing activitiesExecute analytical assays including Protein A, SEC, CEX, HIC, pH, conductivity, and reagent preparationTroubleshoot laboratory instrumentation, including HPLC systems, pH meters, conductivity meters, and pipettesReview analytical data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of resultsTrain and mentor analysts on laboratory methods and proceduresSupport campaign readiness by ensuring reagents, materials, and equipment are available and maintainedReview and update laboratory documentation, procedures, and quality recordsInitiate and support quality investigations, equipment tag-outs, and related quality system activitiesParticipate in audit readiness activities and help maintain an inspection-ready laboratory environmentApply data integrity principles and GMP requirements in all aspects of laboratory workWhat we are looking for:Associate’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related science fieldLimited experience in a laboratory or regulated environment preferredBasic understanding of laboratory with chromatography and HPLC systemsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructionsGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and work as part of a teamExperience training or mentoring others is a plusAbout LonzaAt Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
