Drives adoption of new technologies and processes (automation, robotics, computer aided manufacturing software, etc.) to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction and quality improvement. Creates and analyzes 3D based model data environment to optimize manufacturing process and digital work instructions. Leverages understanding of materials and automatic processes to define operations procedures and build sequences to drive operational excellence. Evaluates performance (including IoT devices, etc.) of equipment and tools to verify their efficiency and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure operational excellence. Leverages factory data to develop statistical process control approaches and integrates reporting and data analytics solutions for continuous improvement. Provides input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related engineering fieldExperience working strategically; as well as tactically to drive operationsPrevious lead/leadership experience EXperience as a liaison between Production Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Tooling, Design Engineering, Quality Engineering, SQM, Suppliers and Feeder Operation SitesExpereince building positive relationships with the customerExpereince analyzing and resolving technical & process issues Desired Skills8+ years of experience in an technical lead/supervisory/managerial roleExperience with the Aeronautics Line of Business, Aero Codes and proceduresExperience with CNC milling, NC programming and machining operations equipment (Multi-axis, Autodrills, Water Jet, etc)Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize requests across departments or sitesDemonstrated ability to lead high performing engineering/operations teams, manage budgets, and influence cross functional stakeholdersExperience interfacing with executive leadership across functions and lines of businessExperience with Earned Value Management/Cost Account ManagementGeometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) Training and demostrated skillsPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $116100.00 - $215700.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
