As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Pontiac, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will manage access control, monitor site activity, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, checking credentials, and monitoring entry and exit activity at the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
• Monitor gates, doors, badge systems, vehicle access points, and delivery traffic to help support authorized access and report unusual or suspicious activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Complete reports related to access activity, incidents, and daily operations while following Allied Universal policies and client-specific security-related procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
