Physical Therapist AssistantSchedule: Days M-F 8-5Assignment Details:Guaranteed Hours: 32Contract Weeks: 26Requirements:Graduated from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)-accredited physical therapy assistant education program.Must be licensed in good standing in the state as a Physical Therapist Assistant or have all appropriate paperwork completed to work as a Student Physical Therapist Assistant post-graduation.Current BLS certification.Roles & Responsibilities:Direct, modify, and administer physical therapy modalities of treatment as supervised by the Physical Therapist.Administer treatments and physical agents after the Physical Therapist has evaluated the patient.Assist with the restoration of patient functioning to prevent disability following injury, disease, or physical disability.Help patients reach their maximum performance and level of functioning while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.Participate in operational aspects of the department and maintain performance improvement activities.Compliance / Notes:All travelers are required to show proof of completed COVID vaccinations.Bethel, AKTLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is an equal-opportunity employer and fully complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
