Your Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive evaluations of patients, ordering relevant diagnostic procedures, and devising personalized treatment plans
• Diagnosing and addressing both acute and chronic illnesses either independently or in collaboration with physicians, based on your credentials
• Instructing patients and their families on wellness strategies, illness prevention, and effective disease management
• Administering prescriptions and therapies within the regulatory scope of your practice
• Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic disease management
• Cooperating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care
• Meticulously documenting all interactions within electronic medical systems (EMR)

What You Need to Bring

• Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Mandatory Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure for Virginia
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willing to acquire within 90 days)
