Overview Job Details: Job Location: Ellicott City School – Ellicott City, MD 21042. Salary Range: $17.00 - $25.00 hourly. Assist in implementing curriculum aligned with Maryland Early Learning Standards. Support small group instruction, individualized learning, and child assessments. Maintain accurate attendance, student records, documentation, and daily reports. Reinforce literacy, math, and social‑emotional development. Supervise children during all activities using positive guidance techniques. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment. Support effective classroom transitions and engaging displays. Communicate professionally and positively with families. Collaborate with the Lead Teacher and Director to address classroom needs. Attend required meetings, trainings, and school events. Maintain confidentiality and a professional appearance at all times. Complete required annual professional development (minimum 20 hours). Physical Demands The job requires frequent bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, lifting and carrying; ability to lift 50 pounds.
