Windows Server Systems Engineer - Mid-Level

Salary: $65,000 - 97,500 per year Requirements:

• Experienced mid- or upper-level Windows systems engineering capabilities, including practical experience managing and supporting complex environments.
• Strong understanding of how hardware, software, and networks interact, with the ability to troubleshoot across technology stacks and maintain secure, stable systems.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to clients and build positive client relationships.
• Sound professional judgment and independence, along with the ability to recognize when to seek team support or escalate issues.
• Proactive approach to identifying and correcting issues before they affect system stability or security.
• Familiarity with the Greater Spokane Area and its business community is a plus.
• Certifications such as A+, Network+, or Security+ are valued; demonstrated ability and experience are emphasized over a specific number of years.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation for on-site client support across the Greater Spokane Area.
• Must be able to work in person in Spokane, Washington; relocation before starting is required for candidates moving from outside the area.
• Commitment to teamwork, customer service, adaptability, and the success of clients and the organization.

• Set up, deploy, configure, manage, and support physical and cloud-based servers, cloud applications, and workstation environments, primarily using Windows Server 2019–2025.
• Configure, deploy, migrate, secure, and support Microsoft 365 tenants and user workflows.
• Design, deploy, and support client network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, VLANs, VPNs, and ZTNA.
• Participate in and lead technical projects such as office moves, server deployments, network upgrades, and cloud migrations, following internal procedures and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues, pursuing stable, lasting solutions rather than temporary fixes.
• Help maintain and improve our internal standards, best practices, and service procedures.
• Provide hands-on, on-site support to clients across the Greater Spokane Area.

This is primarily an in-office role in Spokane, with occasional remote flexibility possible; the position is scheduled Monday through Friday on an eight-hour day shift.
