Practical Nursing Instructor

Flint Hills Technical College is seeking a full-time instructor for the Practical Nursing program beginning in January 2027. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required. Current Kansas Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Minimum of two years of paid employment in nursing or in an educational setting. Kansas teaching certificate is not required. Essential Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality instruction in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings to promote student learning and success. Plan, organize, evaluate, and continuously improve Practical Nursing curriculum and instructional materials. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and clinical partners to support student success and program excellence. Salary and Benefits: 9-month full-time position with your salary paid over 12 months Starting salary: $41,000-$60,000, based on education and experience 100% employer-paid employee health insurance Paid Leave Time KPERS retirement plan Opportunity to earn additional compensation by teaching additional courses The FHTC Board of Trustees reserves the right to withdraw positions prior to being filled.
