Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Summary:
Provides expert nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence. Supervises nursing staff and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of nursing staff, ensuring adherence to care plans and policies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and modify patient treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Ensure proper documentation of patient data, interventions, and outcomes.
• Perform advanced procedures such as Impella and Balloon Pump management, maintaining specialized skills and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Possess a minimum of two years recent ICU experience, with demonstrated competency in critical care.
• Maintain current BLS certification and AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS credential.
• Demonstrate proficiency in advanced cardiac support devices, including Impella and Balloon Pump.
• Ability to assess complex patient needs and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
