Weekly taxable: $1044

Weekly nontaxable: $1246

Location: Peoria, IL

Shift: Nights

Contract length: 13 weeks

Scheduled hours: 36

Job Description -

- Nurse: Patient Ratios: 1:4/5 on day shift 1:5/6 on night shift.

- Required certifications: BLS

- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: General medical unit.

- Experience or 'Must have' skills: Gen Med experience; Strong teamwork and communication.

- Is there a Charge Nurse &/or House Supervisor on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: Yes, charge nurse 24

hours per day. Ideal is charge does not have patient assignment, however, if short staff they will take a patient assignment. We

also have a house supervisor 24/7.

- Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties?: Yes, we have PCTs 24 hours per day. Ratio of 1: 6/7 on days

and 1:10 on nights.

- RT Equipment: No vents.

- Are there tele/monitor techs on this unit? Are RNs required to read their own strips? What brand are the tele monitors?: Yes, some

patients are on telemetry, Phillips monitor, bedside RNs do not read strips, there is a central station for monitor techs.
