Cybersecurity Engineer

To advance the company's mission of delivering secure software solutions for U.S. government and DoD clients, the full-time Cybersecurity Engineer will manage security compliance for software deployed in regulated environments, drive RMF/ATO lifecycle management, and integrate security practices within DevOps processes while working remotely. Key Responsibilities Lead cybersecurity efforts for software in secure federal and DoD environments, ensuring compliance with government security policies Execute RMF activities, including system categorization, security control selection, and ATO documentation for federal systems Implement and validate STIGs and mitigate application-layer vulnerabilities across services Required Qualifications U.S. citizenship and active DoD security clearance or ability to obtain one 3-5 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in federal or DoD environments Strong knowledge of RMF processes and experience with ATO package preparation Proficiency in applying STIGs using DISA-approved tools and familiarity with vulnerability management tools Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Virtual Vocations Inc
