Maintenance & Robotics Tech $32.50/hr 1st or 3rd Shift! No Onsite Interview Required

This role supports the operations maintenance team by installing, maintaining, and repairing material handling equipment, automated packaging systems, and pneumatic systems within a fast-paced distribution environment. The Maintenance Technician II applies strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills to ensure conveyor systems, robotics, and automation equipment operate safely and efficiently, minimizing downtime and supporting continuous operations.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, including conveyors, robotics, and related automation systems.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, and associated mechanical and electrical components to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on equipment, identifying root causes and implementing effective repairs.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair conveyor systems, including motors, sensors, and 3-phase electrical components, to ensure reliable operation.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to diagnose issues and perform accurate repairs and installations.
• Conduct electrical troubleshooting and maintenance on industrial equipment, including control systems and sensors, in accordance with safety standards.
• Perform mechanical troubleshooting and machine repair, including alignment, adjustment, and replacement of parts on industrial machinery.
• Carry out industrial maintenance activities such as welding, fabrication, and component replacement to restore equipment to proper working condition.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections to support reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Collaborate with other maintenance and operations team members to prioritize tasks, support production needs, and maintain a safe working environment.

Essential Skills

• Hands-on experience troubleshooting mechanical systems, including conveyors, material handling equipment, and industrial machinery.
• Practical electrical maintenance experience, including work with 3-phase power, sensors, and industrial control systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems in an industrial environment.
• Demonstrated ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors and other automated equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with industrial maintenance, including electrical troubleshooting, mechanical repair, and equipment restoration.
• Skill in robotics and automation maintenance, including identifying and resolving issues in automated systems.
• Capability to perform welding and basic fabrication tasks to support equipment repair and maintenance.
• Strong focus on safety and adherence to maintenance best practices in an industrial setting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
• Electrical maintenance or electrical field experience.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and documentation practices.
• Exposure to automation and robotics systems used in packaging, distribution, or material handling applications.
• Comfort working with industrial equipment such as motors, sensors, conveyor systems, and automated machinery.

Work Environment

The role is based in a large, automated distribution facility that operates at a fast pace and relies heavily on conveyor systems, robotics, and other material handling equipment. You will work around industrial machinery, motors, 3-phase electrical systems, sensors, and pneumatic and hydraulic equipment. The position may involve standing, walking, climbing, and working at various heights to access equipment. Work schedules may include shifts, weekends, or extended hours depending on operational needs. You will use standard industrial tools and diagnostic equipment and follow safety procedures and facility guidelines, including appropriate work attire and personal protective equipment suitable for an industrial maintenance environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.50 - $32.50/hr.
