Welder We are seeking a skilled Mig Welder to join our team, working primarily in the agriculture industry. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of specialist products, including treadmill and exercise equipment parts. The role requires a commitment to overtime, with the potential for 50-60 hours weekly during peak periods. Responsibilities Perform Mig welding tasks with precision and efficiency. Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication. Work with stainless steel and various production materials. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Essential Skills Minimum of 2 years experience in Mig welding. Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation. Work Environment The position is based in a manufacturing environment with shift hours from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM, Monday through Thursday. Overtime is available on Fridays and Saturdays, requiring flexibility to work six days a week during peak periods. Typically, the schedule reverts to a four-day workweek during normal operations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NEWTON, KS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
