40.00 Department Details Marshfield Medical Center - Dickinson is looking for a full-time CRNA - No Call to join our Gastroenterology team to be based at our Marquette, MI outpatient clinic and surgery center. There is an annual requirement of 1,720 hours per year with additional compensation available for additional shifts worked beyond a 1.0 FTE. Marshfield Medical Center - Dickinson is a regional hospital and fully integrated medical campus providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care to residents in upper Michigan and northeast Wisconsin. Our facility in Marquette is an extension of this campus. Job Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school for nurse anesthetists Must hold or be eligible to obtain and maintain a current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license or Nurse Compact License. Job Summary Responsible for the administration of anesthesia. Administers anesthesia or sedation to patients undergoing a variety of surgical and non-surgical procedures. Develops and conducts pre-anesthetic plan for the patient as well as write orders before, after, and during procedures appropriately. Works with and collaborates with providers caring for the patient. Communicates with patients, family members and others on the health care team. Evaluates and orders diagnostic tests as needed. Monitors patients, including hemodynamic monitoring, using current techniques to adjust appropriately with the anesthesia plan. Ability to work with growth and development needs of all client populations. Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree required from an approved and accredited educational program in specific area of advanced practice. Masters degree, Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) preferred. Requires current unencumbered licensure to practice as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) from the State Board of Nursing in the state(s) of practice and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges as required by position. CRNA certification required and maintained through the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA). Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
