Description: We are a complete Cath Lab utilizing Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and General Surgeons. We provide complete Cardiac and Peripheral Services. The procedures include Left Heart Cath, Right Heart Cath, PTCA, Stenting, Thrombectomy, and Atherectomy. Carotid diagnostic and stenting are also performed. Peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures, including Atherectomy, are part of our services. Pacemaker Insertion, Tilt Table Test, Kyphoplasty, and AV graft diagnostic, stent, and thrombectomy are included. The Cath Lab Technologist will work an 8-hour day shift and rotate call during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Proficiency in various devices used in the Cath Lab, such as the Philips Laser System, IVUS, and OCT, is required. Familiarity with various coronary and peripheral atherectomy devices is expected. We operate two Siemens Artis Zee C-arms. Knowledge of McKesson CPACS, McKesson Cardiology, and the McKesson Hemodynamic System is beneficial. The applicant will rotate between scrubbing and circulating procedures, which includes operating the x-ray equipment. Other duties include assisting with pre and post areas, transporting patients, and managing inventory.
