About the Position

Job Title: RN IR Neurovascular Moderate Sedation Profession: RN Specialty: OR RN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12.0 Hours per Shift: 10 or 12 hours Experience: Two (2) years preferred License: RN License (NY License ONLY) Certifications: BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY) Must-Have: Moderate Sedation Experience, IR Experience Description: Join a dedicated team that provides moderate sedation in a fast-paced procedural area. Care for patients undergoing preventative and interventional stroke care. Responsibilities include intraoperative moderate sedation and circulating when not providing moderate sedation. The RN administers moderate sedation and closely monitors the patient's cardiac and physical status. Collaboration with the physician is essential to ensure safety, comfort, and privacy. BLS, ACLS, telemetry, and the ability to administer and monitor conscious sedation independently are required. Operating room experience in a level 1 trauma hospital is highly desired. Moderate sedation and IR experience are required.
