Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for performing various interventional radiology procedures while ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety. The role requires participation in on-call duties and weekend shifts to meet department needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct various interventional radiology procedures including angiograms, biopsies, stent placements, and other vascular studies.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.
• Prepare and maintain equipment for procedures, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any medical emergencies.
• Document all procedures accurately in the electronic medical record (Cerner preferred).
• Participate in on-call rotations and weekend coverage as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in interventional radiology is required.
• Vascular experience is mandatory.
• Valid Florida state license and ARRT certification (R, VI) required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
• Must possess skills in handling PACS, contrast, and various interventional procedures.
