About the Position
TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support regional operations based in Levittown, Pennsylvania. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. The role is temp-to-perm and onsite.
Pay & Schedule Details
- Pay: $1,200–$1,500 per week
- Rate: $0.65 per mile
- Additional pay: $25 per backhaul and $25 for sweeping out the trailer
- Typical mileage: 2,150 miles per week
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, with occasional Sunday departures
- Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Details
- Route type: Regional, with some local routes
- Service areas may include Long Island, Plymouth, Westbrook, Metro New Jersey, and Rocky Hill, Connecticut
- Additional lanes may be available south and west of the main distribution center in Front Royal, Virginia
- Layovers: Approximately 3–4 per week
- Freight and equipment: Reefer trailers and automatic sleeper trucks
- Handling: No-touch freight
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate assigned equipment on regional routes
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and required paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
