Main tasks include operation of blast equipment, cleaning, deburring, and protecting parts for blast/paint/shipping, as well as operation of forklifts and overhead cranes. Responsibilities Employee is responsible for operation of blast equipment to blast parts clean for NDE inspection and for surface preparation for paint application. Blast operators are also responsible for cleaning, deburring, and protecting parts for blast/paint according to engineering drawings. Other responsibilities include, but not limited to, operation of forklifts and overhead cranes (up to 15 Tons), prepping parts for shipment, and maintaining general cleanliness of work areas. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Must be able to pass Blueprint Reading course (provided by Voith) Physical Demands - The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an Associate to successfully perform the key actions of job.
