Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit

Assignment Details:

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements:

• Current RN Licensure in the state
• Healthcare Provider Level of BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
• PALS certification within 12 months of hire
• Minimum one year of RN experience preferred for specialty nursing departments
• Experience as an acute care registered nurse preferred

Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessments and collect data focusing on physiological, psychosocial, and cognitive status.
• Implement care according to established procedures, policies, and care plans.
• Identify patient learning needs and provide patient education.
• Document patient care in electronic medical records per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrate effective organization and priority setting in patient care.
• May function as a Charge Nurse, overseeing patient assignments and coordinating staff coverage.
