Job Description

The Warehouse Worker operates in a fast-paced production environment, handling inventory and performing kitting, material handling, order pulling, and final packaging activities. This role requires working on your feet for the entire shift, regularly lifting up to 30 pounds, and using computers for inventory tasks and frequent counting. The position supports accurate and efficient movement of materials and finished goods to ensure smooth production and shipping operations.

Responsibilities

• Handle inventory accurately, including receiving, storing, and organizing materials in the warehouse.
• Perform kitting activities by gathering and assembling required parts and materials for production orders.
• Pull orders efficiently and accurately based on work orders, pick lists, or production requirements.
• Complete final packaging of products, ensuring items are packed securely and labeled correctly for shipment.
• Perform material handling tasks such as loading and unloading materials and products as needed.
• Operate computers to update inventory records, track materials, and support shipping and receiving processes.
• Count parts and materials frequently to maintain accurate inventory levels and support production needs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, instructions, and PNIDs to ensure correct materials and components are used.
• Use measuring tools such as rulers, calipers, and protractors to verify dimensions and ensure materials meet specifications.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, area leads, and management to coordinate tasks and resolve issues.
• Work as a self-starter, managing time and tasks proactively to meet daily and weekly production goals.
• Multi-task in a team environment, supporting other warehouse and production activities as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area in the warehouse and production spaces.

• Experience working in a warehouse or production environment with inventory, picking, and packing responsibilities.
• Proficiency in packing, picking, and material handling tasks.
• Ability to perform inventory activities, including frequent counting and record updates.
• Comfort using computers for inventory tracking, order processing, and related warehouse operations.
• Capability to regularly lift up to 30 pounds and work on your feet for the entire shift.
• Proficiency using rulers, calipers, protractors, and various other measuring tools.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, assembly drawings, instructions, and PNIDs.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with coworkers, area leads, and management.
• Self-starter mindset with strong self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a team environment.

• Education and proficiency with basic measurement tools and technical drawings.
• Experience with shipping and loading processes in a warehouse or production setting.
• Familiarity with packaging standards and labeling requirements for outbound shipments.
• Comfort working in a structured, process-driven environment with production and inventory controls.

Work Environment

The work environment is a production and warehouse setting focused on fluid handling products and systems used across diverse industries, including electronic component manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, water and waste treatment, metal finishing, pollution control, life sciences, and construction. You will work on your feet for the entire shift, regularly lifting up to 30 pounds and handling materials and finished products. The role involves frequent use of computers for inventory and shipping tasks, as well as measuring tools such as rulers, calipers, and protractors. The facility operates with structured processes and safety procedures, and you will collaborate closely with coworkers, area leads, and other departments to support efficient operations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, OR.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
