What this role is all about


Great hospitality experiences depend on clean, safe, and well-maintained hotels. As a General Maintenance Laborer, you'll support the Engineering team with everyday repairs, upkeep, and physical projects that help keep the property running smoothly and looking its best.

What you'll be doing

What you'll be doing

• Assist with general repairs and maintenance across guest rooms, public spaces, exterior areas, and back-of-house facilities.
  
  

• Support painting, patching, basic carpentry, furniture assembly, equipment movement, and other property upkeep projects.
  
  

• Move tools, materials, furniture, supplies, and equipment safely throughout the hotel.
  
  

• Help complete preventative maintenance tasks, property inspections, and work orders.
  
  

• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas, storage spaces, tools, and equipment.
  
  

• Assist with groundskeeping, debris removal, seasonal preparation, and exterior maintenance as needed.
  
  

• Report damaged equipment, safety concerns, and repair needs promptly.
  
  

• Follow all hotel safety procedures and use tools, equipment, and protective gear correctly.
  
  

• Respond to requests professionally and partner with hotel teams to minimize disruption to guests.
  
  

• Perform any other duties as assigned.
  
  

What great looks like

• Previous maintenance, construction, landscaping, facilities, warehouse, or general labor experience preferred.
  
  

• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, repairs, and safe working practices preferred.
  
  

• A dependable, positive, and team-focused approach.
  
  

• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks safely and efficiently.
  
  

• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
  
  

• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  
  

• A passion for teamwork, maintaining high standards, and helping create safe and welcoming guest experiences.
