The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years of experience in public works/roadway design and knowledge of Public Works projects in the Houston area. This position will entail the design and management of civil engineering projects and related pursuits. Director of Public Works Responsibilities:Business development activities including client relationship buildingDevelop project scopes, professional services fee development, and staff projectionsProduce winning project proposals as lead professional/project managerSupport leaders of multiple teams producing public works projectsTrain and mentor staffManage project administration and supervisionWork in a collaborative team environment with multiple offices and various disciplinesDirector of Public Works Requirements:Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degreeProfessional Engineer (P.E.)
