Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and create individualized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ research-based methodologies to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily activities
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, holistic care
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Guide patients and their families on therapeutic techniques that promote continued progress
• Monitor Progress and Adapt Treatment: Keep track of clinical advancements and modify care strategies as necessary to keep patients on track

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Ongoing education or postgraduate certifications are encouraged and fostered

Licensure

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
