Computed Tomography Technologist - Travel Job

Become a vital part of Jackson HealthPros' team as an experienced CT Tech. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT scan equipment for a hospital in Fort Walton Beach, FL. This role requires performing diagnostic CT exams and diagnostic radiography independently, with occasional on-call and weekend coverage as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2 years CT technologist experience.
• Completion of a JRCERT-accredited program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• Current ARRT certification (CT) and ARRT (R) required.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience performing diagnostic CT exams independently and performing diagnostic x-ray exams, including trauma, portable, fluoroscopy, and interventional assistance.
• Experience with MEDITECH and Centricity PACS (preferred).
• Ability to meet scheduling requirements that include work shifts, on-call coverage, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GE imaging equipment and Konica systems.
• Experience in an acute care hospital or trauma center environment.
• Exceptional patient service and communication skills.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 08:00 - 20:00.
• Work schedule includes Monday through Friday coverage with on-call requirements that may include weekends and holidays.
• Candidates must be willing to perform both CT and diagnostic X-ray exams.
• Black scrubs required as uniform.
