We're hiring a Field Engineer to support construction, installation, commissioning, and startup activities for a large-scale food waste-to-energy facility in Burley, Idaho. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys solving real-world problems in the field, working directly with contractors and trades, and helping bring complex industrial systems to life. Whether you're an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) looking to accelerate your career or a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) seeking project-level impact, this role offers exposure to every stage of facility development. - Coordinate field changes and construction documentation updates
- Support project schedules and daily construction activities
- Participate in equipment testing, commissioning, and startup activities
- Promote a safe and efficient jobsite environment
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
- Experience supporting construction, operations, maintenance, field engineering, or industrial projects
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work onsite in Burley, Idaho
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Industrial construction experience
- Mechanical, electrical, or process systems experience
- Renewable energy, power generation, manufacturing, food processing, or pharmaceutical experience
- Commissioning and startup experience
- Experience working directly with contractors and field personnel
