The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a dedicated Nursing Home Receptionist who will assist the Business Office Manager

What You Will Do

  • Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner

  • Assist in implementing the day-to-day functions of the Accounting Department

  • Prepare quarterly accounting of resident funds managed by the facility including any interest accrued

  • Forward invoices to appropriate department personnel for approval of payment

  • Prepare and mail statements in accordance with established billing procedures

  • Process and post daily charge slips to resident accounts

  • Answer and direct phone calls using a multi-line phone system

  • Perform clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, faxing, and data entry

  • Distribute packages and mail

  • Maintain visitors sign-in logs

  • Assist with project coordination and administrative tasks as needed

  • Business professional dress attire

  • Ensure reception area and lobby maintain a welcoming presentation and first impression

  • Duties as assigned

What You Must Have

  • Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred but not required—we’ll invest in the right heart and mindset.

  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
