They develop product testing parameters, review them for compliance, and assess production procedures.ResponsibilitiesAssist with operator trainingUnderstand and implement customer and Blue Star part quality standardsPerform inspections and sorts per the quality planRecord defects and submit daily reportsPerform layered audits of production lines and processesComply with safety procedures and guidelines at all timesFile paperwork accordingly and on timeMust participate in problem-solvingEffectively communicate with Shift Supervisor, Operators, Auditors, Team Leaders, and members of ManagementDeveloping and implementing quality control audit plans.Identifying testing parameters for parts.Evaluating production stages and testing completed parts' composition, appearance, and functionality.Documenting defects and recommendations for improvement.Preparing and presenting quality audit reportsPerforms other duties as assigned.RequirementsQualificationsMaintain a good attendance recordEffective communicatorGood organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple prioritiesBasic math skillsAttention to detail and ability to follow written instructionsAble to visually inspect parts and see small details and defectsMust be able to use Gauges and CalipersWilling to work overlapping shifts and occasional overtimeMust work well with othersMay engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts and part containersPhysical RequirementsMay be required to sit or stand for long periodsMust be able to lift to 50 pounds
