Software Developer

The Software Developer 2 is responsible for researching, designing, implementing, and managing complex software programs. This role involves working with modern technologies such as Angular, C#, ASP.net, and Oracle Database to develop and maintain business-critical applications. The developer will collaborate closely with other developers, UX designers, and analysts to ensure high-quality software solutions, operating with considerable initiative and limited supervision. Responsibilities:

• Design, code, and modify complex computer programs, subroutines, triggers, stored procedures, objects, classes, and scripts.
• Perform testing of assigned programs including generating test data, writing test scripts, executing tests, and debugging errors.
• Apply current software development methods and adhere to established programming, documentation, and testing standards.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure compliance with development standards and system/business requirements.
• Collaborate with developers, UX designers, business analysts, and systems analysts to deliver software solutions.

• 4-7 years of experience in software development or related field.
• Strong experience in computer programming, analysis, and development of complex business processes and system solutions.
• Proficiency in coding, testing, and debugging software applications.
• Ability to logically process information, design programs and system logic, and prepare program specifications.
• Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with others and motivate team members.
• Knowledge of Information Technology industry trends and ability to relate them to organizational goals.
• Understanding of architectural concepts, principles, and tools related to infrastructure, information, applications, and organizational structure.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies relevant to the information systems industry.
• Knowledge of tools and best practices for protecting corporate data integrity and company technology standards.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies for solution delivery.
• Proficiency in Angular, C#, ASP.net, and Oracle Database technologies.

• Familiarity with the agency s information architecture and information management methodologies.
• Knowledge of existing and planned software technology and software architecture and infrastructure components at global, regional, and **** levels.

• Works under limited supervision but requires considerable initiative and independent judgment.
• May be required to adhere to established software development standards and procedures.
