About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intermediate Care Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required. License: Active compact license required upon start. Certifications: ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, BLS. Must-Have: Charge experience preferred. Description: Replacing a current staff member. Orientation occurs every other Monday. 12-hour night shifts are available. The unit cares for a mix of medical-surgical, telemetry, cardiac IMCU acuity level patients, neuro patients, and CVA patients. Staff will work 48 hours per week. Travelers must work at least one major holiday (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and/or New Year's Day). All requested time off must be included with submission. Charge responsibility is required, and training will be provided. The unit tries to follow a schedule of 2 out of 3 weekends a month, but this is subject to unit needs. Limited requests for time off will be considered. The client can cancel assignments up to 36 hours prior due to census changes. Team members are expected to contribute to a culture of support, particularly when interacting with students and new hires. Cerner experience is preferred. Float requirement: No.
