Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Variable Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in Prep and Recovery or Cardiac Care Unit License: Registered Nurse Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Preferred experience in Prep and Recovery or Cardiac Care Unit. Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Cardiac Cath Lab. This role will involve preparation and recovery for cardiac procedures and interventional radiology. The facility features a total of 13 beds and serves a diverse adult and geriatric patient population. The patient-to-nurse ratio can be as high as 1:4. Candidates should be motivated and capable of multitasking. A minimum of an Associate's degree in Nursing is required for this position. Dress code requires light blue scrubs, which will be provided at no cost. Preferred skillset includes post-anesthesia recovery and vascular line pulls, as well as assessment of patients following cardiac and interventional radiology procedures. Please note that there are no call requirements associated with this position. Applicants should have no floating requirements within the facility. This role does not involve weekend hours. The electronic health record system used will be Cerner.
