The Opportunity As a Licensed Veterinary Technician at Cladda, you will be an integral part of our medical team, providing advanced nursing care in a fast-paced emergency setting. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes, and you will have access to cutting-edge technology to support high-quality care. What You'll Do Provide exceptional nursing care to emergency and hospitalized patients Triage incoming patients and assist with stabilization and critical care Monitor anesthetized patients and assist in surgical and emergency procedures Perform diagnostic procedures, including radiographs, bloodwork, cytology, and urinalysis Utilize advanced medical equipment, including endoscopy, CT, and ultrasound Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with clients regarding patient status and treatment plans Perform advanced technical skills, including but not limited to central line placement, nasogastric tube placement, urethral catheter placement, laceration repair and suturing, wound management and bandaging, and chest tube and feeding tube maintenance Collaborate with veterinarians and support staff to ensure the best possible patient outcomes Assist in training new team members and ensuring adherence to hospital protocols Additional training and mentorship is available for technicians looking to develop more advanced skills.
