Details Hospital General OR setting supporting 12 surgical service lines including vascular, bariatric, orthopedic, neuro, thoracic, urology, GYN, plastics, podiatry, and general surgery Evening shift schedule, 4x10 hours from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM 1:1 patient ratio experience required Call requirement of 6 shifts per 8-week block, including weekends and holidays Staff will float as needed Uses Da Vinci Xi Surgical System for robotic-assisted procedures including colorectal cases Epic EMR preferred Requirements CST certification required (NBSTSA); license required if applicable Minimum of 3 years of experience required, with hard stop requirements for Bariatrics, Vascular, Thoracic, Ortho, and Neuro specialties Prior travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered Teaching hospital and Trauma Level II experience preferred Experience with a wide range of surgical procedures including vascular, GYN, plastics, neuro, orthopedic, cardiovascular, general surgery, ENT, bariatrics, thoracic, urology, and robotics Proficiency in aseptic technique, sharps safety, specimen handling/labeling, and Universal Protocol (time out) procedures Knowledge of decontamination and sterilization processes and indicators Management or lead experience preferred Epic charting experience preferred Additional Information Perform surgical technologist duties across a broad range of specialties and procedures within a high-volume, multi-specialty OR Support case preparation, instrumentation, and sterile field maintenance for complex surgical cases including robotic-assisted procedures Participate in specimen handling, sharps safety, and Universal Protocol time-out procedures Scrubs are provided Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible Returning staff must wait 6 months system-wide before being eligible for rehire Candidates with more than 10 days of requested RTO will not be considered These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
