CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Overview We are hiring immediately for full time and part time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions. Location: Lincoln County RIII School District – 951 West College, Troy, MO 63379. Note: online applications accepted only. Schedule: Full time and part time schedules; days may vary, 6:30 am to 1:30 pm. More details upon interview. Pay: $15.50 per hour. Perks: No nights, weekends, holidays, or summers. Free shift meal and paid holidays and sick time. Requirement: Prior food service and cashier experience is preferred. Internal Referral: Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available. Responsibilities Operates Point of Sale system and performs cashier duties Assists the Chef and prepares coffee; keeps coffee and cashier stations clean Prepares foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods and desserts; assists with catering orders Performs general cleaning duties and removes trash Provides service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving Maintains cash accuracy with receipts and handles end-of-shift deposits Inventories and restocks supplies and food products Sets up serving lines, monitors food temperatures, and notifies cooks if temperatures are not within acceptable ranges Serves hot and cold items to customers and stocks daily items Maintains proper food rotation and records temperatures and replenishments as required Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Prior food service and cashier experience is preferred Ability to follow established procedures and safety guidelines Strong customer service and communication skills Benefits & Additional Information Associates may be eligible for various benefits as described by Chartwells K-12 and Compass Group guidelines Equal opportunity employer; committed to fair treatment of applicants and associates Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis Note: The above description reflects the essential functions of the position and may be subject to modification.
