Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Viera Health and Rehabilitation Center is looking for Physical Therapy Assistants to join their in-house rehab team!

$5,000 Sign on Bonus for Full-time

ABOUT VIERA HEALTH & REHAB CENTER - Located in Viera, FL, we are a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility that is dedicated to helping our residents maximize their potential and live their lives to the fullest. We offer a modern, comfortable, and secure facility staffed by caring professionals where individuals receive the finest sub-acute medical care, rehabilitation services, and 24-hour skilled nursing care. Requirements of the PTA (Physical Therapy Assistant)

Current Florida PTA License (Physical Therapy Assistant)
Current CPR

Responsibilities:

Provides skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist.
Responds to requests for service by relaying information and referral to Registered Physical Therapist.
Implements and modifies the patient’s physical therapy plan of treatment with RPT supervision
Measuring & recording residents motor function, strength and muscle performance
Monitors patient responses to treatments and modifies it during treatment sessions as necessary.
Observe residents and write progress reports.
