Position: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Shift:

Day Shift - 4x10 Hour (07:00 AM - 05:30 PM)

Years of Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of experience required in Interventional Radiology.

Certifications:

• ARRT (R) - Radiography
• BLS - Basic Life Support
• IR/CV Certification - Preferred
• State License - Washington

Skills:

• Abdominal and Pelvic Procedures
• Angioplasty
• Chest Tube Placement - Preferred
• Embolization - Preferred
• Gastrostomy Tube Placement - Preferred
• Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) Filter Placement - Preferred
• Liver Biopsy - Preferred
• Paracentesis - Preferred
• Radioembolization
• Stent Placement
• Thoracentesis - Preferred
• Vascular Studies/Procedures

Procedural Responsibilities:

• Equipment Setup
• Prep Access Site
• Room Circulator
• Maintain Sterile Field

Work Setting:

Fast-paced Interventional Radiology Department supporting Vascular Surgeons and Interventional Radiologists.

Equipment Experience Preferences:

• GE Innova IGS
• Philips Systems

Patient Age Groups:

• Adolescents
• Adults
• Geriatrics

Special Procedures/Unit Details:

The department utilizes advanced imaging technology, including Philips rooms (one biplane) and a GE Hybrid room.

Scheduling Type:

Standard scheduling with on-call responsibilities. One weekend per month may be required.

Seattle, WA

Additional Information:

The ideal candidate will have experience in procedures such as Angiograms, Nephograms, and Venous Access, as well as a solid understanding of sterile techniques and infection control protocols. The ability to work effectively in a collaborative, high-energy environment is essential.
