See for yourself.As a key member of the Recovery Sciences team you will play an integral part in helping Enovis drive the medical technology industry forward through transforming patient care and creating better patient outcomes.**Job Title:** Electronic Repair Technician**Reports To:** Sr Supervisor, Maintenance**Location:** DFW Distribution Center**Job Title/High-Level Position Summary:**The Electronic Repair Technician Under general supervision, builds, repairs, and/or tests a wide range of electronic and/or precision medical equipment in a workbench environment.**Key Responsibilities:*** Responsible for systematic processing of repair orders.* Responsible for the repair and testing of a variety of new and older products using standard and/or non-standard tools, equipment, and procedures.* Utilize engineering schematics and/or follow documented service procedures to perform tasks as assigned.* Perform precision repairs involving a considerable number of details and independent judgement.* Must comply with all documentation procedures and standards.* Ensure all products and workstations are thoroughly and properly cleaned and sanitized.* Must adhere to all guidance documents and task instructions.* Must adhere to safety guidelines.* Responsible for the verification of system performance by completing operational tests.* Documents repair information per repair process requirements.* Other duties as assignedTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Experience* Minimum of 1 year experience repairing electronic devices* HS Diploma or equivalent required**Work environment | Physical demands:*** Climate controlled work space* Benchtop work environment* Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/ or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.* The ability to work with and assemble small objects and component parts.* Must have excellent visual acuity.**Desired Characteristics**:* Associate degree or Certificate in Electronics/Repair Program preferred.* Self-starter with the ability to work independently.* Strong written and verbal communication skills* Promote and maintain a safe, healthy, and ethnical work environment.* Fosters a positive work environment and encourages collaboration among team.* Basic knowledge and ability to use hand tools (e.g., pliers, screwdriver, hammer, wrench, etc.), power tools, and test equipment.* Proficient in use of computers/office equipment* Ability to read blueprints/schematics.* Basic math and measuring skills.* Demonstrated mechanical/electrical problem solving.* Previous repair experience required*Currently, Enovis does not provide sponsorship for employment visas (e.g., H-1B) and will not offer such sponsorship in the future.
