Job Description As a Security Guard Healthcare Facility Patrol in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security‑related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff through strong communication and customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.26 / Hour Job Schedule: Day, Time Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with appropriate personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site procedures. Support a professional environment by interacting with patients, staff, and guests with courtesy and respect while following post orders and Allied Universal standards. Minimum Requirements: Fluency in Spanish is required, including the ability to speak, read, and write. A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. A Guard Card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
