Mommy's Cocktail Bar & Lounge in Williamsburg, right off of Graham Ave. L Train. We aim to pair great cocktails, with a relaxed atmosphere, great bites, and finish it off with some great bites. Mommy's does not take reservations, except for Private Events.

Compensation: Hourly ($11.35) plus tips. Average/Range of Tips for 40 Hour Week = $1,200 - $2,000.

Our Hours:

• Monday - Wednesday: 5:00 pm - 2:00 am
• Thursday and Friday: 3:00 pm - 4:00 am
• Saturday: 12:00 pm - 4:00 am
• Sunday: 12:00 pm - 2:00 am

Shifts:

1. If opening, bartenders are normally scheduled 1 hour before open.
2. Closing procedures should take between 30 minutes - 1 hour. If it is a slow end-of night, bartenders should be able to leave at close. We do not close early.

About Bartending at Mommy's:

• Guests order drinks at the bar (we do not have servers). Food will be required to be dropped off at tables. Our food program has recently taken off and has been very popular! When time permits, bartender should check on tables.
• Bartenders should have cocktail bar experience and be able to make all classic cocktails. Until closing times, bartenders will always be staffed with either a (1) barback, or (2) manager.

Volume & Expectations:

• Weekdays are consistent, with some pops during Happy Hour.
• Weekends are busier, with pops around dinner, and into late night.
• Bartenders work quickly and efficiently in handling a high volume of Guests.
• Provide exceptional customer service, especially during lulls in service (take this time to make a regular).
• Complete side-work during shifts.

Detailed Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service:
   • Greeting customers and offering menus.
   • Taking drink orders and making recommendations.
   • Serving beverages and providing good customer service.
   • Monitoring customer intoxication levels and ensuring responsible alcohol service.
2. Beverage Preparation:
   • Mixing drinks according to recipes.
   • Preparing and serving various types of drinks.
   • Using bar equipment and ingredients correctly.
   • Preparing ingredients and Signature Cocktails for Bar
3. Financial Transactions:
   • Processing cash and credit card payments.
   • Balancing cash receipts and recording sales.
4. Bar Maintenance:
   • Cleaning glasses, bar utensils, and work areas.
   • Maintaining a clean and organized bar environment.
   • Restocking bar supplies and inventory.
5. Other Responsibilities:
   • Verifying customer IDs and ages.
   • Adhering to local and national liquor laws.
   • Assisting with food service if required.
   • Communicating and coordinating with other staff members, such as the kitchen
